The apartment itself was clean and well-equipped for self-catering, ensuring a convenient experience. While the pool and garden were enticing features, the view from the property was hindered by a strip mall, detracting from the otherwise picturesque setting. Although we visited during the off-season, the hotel's location near various dining options and the beach could make it a family-friendly choice during peak times. The staff was accommodating, although check-in did take longer than anticipated. The hotel's positioning with the strip mall obstructing views may lead some to question the luxury aspect of their stay. For those looking for a simple and budget-friendly option with basic amenities in La Serena, Agua Marina might fit the bill.
